DECAL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1
When you receive your decal, lay it on a flat surface and apply pressure evenly on the transfer tape side with squeegee or plastic card. This will ensure the vinyl decal stays on the transfer tape and does not separate along with the backing paper during installation. If your decal comes in a roll, allow the decal to uncoil for half an hour or so before applying pressure to the decal. Clean application surface thoroughly with water or rubbing alcohol.
Step 2
These instructions are for a DRY installation method. Using a liquid to align your decal is not recommended. WITHOUT removing the backing paper; secure each end of your decal with masking tape to the surface. Stand back look at the decal and reposition the decal if needed. For more accurate positioning a tape measure may be required.
Step 3
In the middle of the decal; attach a longer piece of masking tape to the window surfaces just above the decal stretching down the decal and below the decal. This will act as a center hinge.
Step 4
Starting with one side of the decal; peel back the top layer exposing the decal. Cut the backing paper away with scissors or a razor being sure not to scratch or damage the surface and discard the backing paper.
Step 5
Hold the transfer paper just above the surface with little slack. Squeegee starting from the center out in an up and down motion. Use enough pressure to force air bubbles out from underneath the graphic.
Step 6
Remove the center tape and peel back the remaining side. Discard the remaining backing paper and repeat Step 5 by holding the transfer paper and Squeegee from the center out in an up and down motion.
Step 7
Gently peel up the transfer tape by pulling it straight back, leaving the graphic on the surface. If you notice any large air bubbles, use a pin and poke a tiny hole. Then squeeze the air bubble out by using your thumb or squeegee. Smaller air bubbles should disappear within a week.
